A journey through truth and transparency, featuring powerful declarations of authenticity in the face of superficiality and pretence.
The track marks a renewal of the long-standing and successful artistic collaboration with Maestro Salvatori, as well as a new partnership with Maestro Andrea Girolamo Gallo, both of whom played a key role in the songwriting, production and musical arrangements, whilst the visual impact and narrative are the work of the masterful Videomaker Gabriele Montori and Director Hamdi Hamad.
With “L’oro ai falsi”, Domenico Di Puorto places at the heart of his narrative the contrast between the authenticity of genuine feelings and the pretence that often characterises modern relationships. The title itself is a provocation and a clear dividing line: leaving illusion, false gold and empty words to those who live by appearances, in order to rediscover the inestimable value of loyalty and transparency.
Through direct, visceral and outspoken lyrics, the artist describes the weariness caused bysocial masks and the need to surround oneself only with sincere people and values. The song thus becomes a manifesto of liberation from all that is toxic or superficial, an invitation to remain true to oneself even when the truth is uncomfortable.
The sound and energy of the track.
From a musical perspective, the single draws on modern pop sounds, with a driving and sophisticated rhythmic production overseen by both masters, Salvatori and Gallo. The track builds to an emotional crescendo before exploding into a rousing and instantly catchy chorus, designed to stick in your mind from the very first listen.
The song’s lyrics resonate as a genuine statement of intent:
I leave their lies to the hypocrites, words blown away by the wind,
I take only what comes from within…
No more filters, no pretence,
My truth is my only guide!
A message for the younger generation.
Domenico Di Puorto continues to convey his messages through his songs and demonstrates how music can be a vehicle for powerful and constructive messages. “L’oro ai falsi” is an exhortation aimed primarily at young people: do not be dazzled by false myths, superficial success or the facades of social media, but value what is real, spontaneous and profound.
