Alfredo Romeo has always been passionate about the world of song and music, grandson of art, his grandfather a great cabaret performer, his namesake; he undertook the study of singing at the A.M.S. association.
Waiting over. Alfredo Romeo’s track “Something Special,” available in all digital stores, will be released on July 29. The single, “Something Special” (Fry Music Records), features Alfredo himself as the songwriter,
Proposing to the general public, with a pop, classy music genre.
In his artistic career an appearance in 2013, at the “Pop Music Festival,” he performed at the Vortex Theater in Rome, with the presence on the jury of a distinguished name: Vincenzo Incenzo.
In 2014, his artistic path meets the musical : “Romeo and Juliet – Love & Change the World,” sees him starring in the role of Romeo, with the Sintesi company, and in 2017 he debuted at the F. Cilea theater in Reggio Calabria, in the musical “Odyssey – Loyalty, Truth, Freedom,” in the role of Ulysses, great public acclaim.
The art project, features a committed, rigorous but also relaxed Alfredo:
“I live music passionately and as therapy, just as in life, I am very attentive to details, so even in this artistic world, I remain true to my way of being; I am the Alfredo of every day, of the everyday, sometimes rigid sometimes light….”
The song “Something Special,” is the brainchild of the singer-songwriter, at a time when maturity, growing up, leads you to take stock. Autobiographical, it describes the artist’s moods, but, each of us can reflect on what is told to us in the verses of the song.
“Although life confronts us with difficulties and trials, sometimes leaving us in loneliness, we need to find the courage in that moment already passed, to regain strength and stay afloat.”
“Something special,” marked a period of happiness, of victories, of plans, of bets won against a life, a life that until recently was hostile and treacherous. The secret? Knowing how to see with the eyes of the artist and Alfredo, how much one could not see before:
