SONIKO, to be danced to transport us into the unknown in these warm months!
Vicky Trunfio aka DJ vickyproduction, class of ’75 was born in Reggio Calabria.
He is a DJ producer who started spinning at the age of 15, freedom and sound, are his life expression. His sound is characterized by TECHNO, TECH-HOUSE, and MINIMAL.
Tech-House being the fusion of two different genres: techno on the one hand and house on the other ,it results in a more softened form of techno, with sounds borrowed from the deep house and progressive house current, while still maintaining an essential structure, with little elaborate rhythmic figures and sparse arrangements, aiming in most cases at a modeling of sounds, achieved through synthesizers and software. A musical genre, which creates a synchronization, and an effect on the listener , to be brought to be through rhythm, an automaton!
DJ vickyproduction, performs in the best clubs in southern Italy, among the most important the disco Maharajà, the Pilone, the Limoneto, the Kalura, the Circus, the Altafiumara Resort, the Oasis, La Scogliera and recently in Sicily with international DJs.
He has collaborated with renowned DJs throughout his artistic career, among them Ralf, Dino Angioletti, Justin Berkman, Claudio Coccoluto ( who passed away on March 2, 2021), Massimino Lippoli and many others.
For the past few years he has been devoting all his time to his own productions. He has collaborations with labels such as Young NRG Production, Pool 8 Records, Urban Life, Smilax Records, MAGHNET RECORDINGS, UPL, PRISMA RECORD and BeatsRec.
SONIKO, marks the beginning of a sound world for FRY MUSIC RECORDS, with the presence of DJ producer PAULCAM on the team, of pure energy!
